A startup that develops a no-code × agentic AI platform for the AEC and physical industries, focused on knowledge automation is seeking an Enterprise Sales / Business Development – Japan Market (m/f/d).

 

Location
Munich 

  • Flexible working hours required to support Japan-based customers

  • Approximately one business trip to Japan per month

 

Job Responsibilities
You will drive enterprise customer acquisition in Japan, from outbound prospecting to close.
You won’t just be selling software — you will identify the industry’s most expensive, fragmented, “unsolvable” problems and partner with customers to solve them with clear, measurable ROI.

  • Own new enterprise customer acquisition in Japan

  • Convert high‑value leads into stable ARR

  • Transition customers from manual, service‑heavy workflows to automated outcomes

  • Build compelling ROI narratives for executive decision‑makers

  • Act as a bridge between Sales and Product, translating customer pain into product requirements

  • Develop Japan‑specific land‑and‑expand account strategies

 

Job Requirements

Must‑Have

  • B2B enterprise sales experience

  • Native‑level Japanese (C2)

  • Fluent business English

  • Experience working with Japanese enterprise customers

  • Willingness to work across time zones and travel to Japan

 

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience in SaaS / IT (not mandatory)

  • Background in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors

  • Consultative or solution‑selling experience

  • Value‑based selling mindset beyond per‑seat pricing
