Company and Job Overview
Our client is a beverage packaging parts manufacturer that was established in Japan in 1941 and in Germany in 2014. Due to growing demand, they are looking for a quality assurance staff member (m/f/d).
Job Responsibilities
Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, monitoring product performance, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Identify the cause of the quality issue and take the necessary procedures .In addition, Judge/advice of handling the quality issue.
Creating and maintaining documentation related to quality standards, procedures, and test results.
Internal and external complaint management.
Employee training and consulting. Train employees on quality issues and advises them on the implementation of quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Helping to continuously improve products, processes and systems to increase quality.
Maintaining and further developing the QS/QMS system (e.g. ISO9001; ISO14001; FSSC22000).
Check COA (certificate of analysis) from the supplier and issue COA to the customer.
Working together with other teams (e.g., Sales, SCM, Production) to address quality issues and implement solutions.
Occasional
Manage/revise the product specification (consulting with Japanese parent company).
Audit the supplier.
Make test plan for new material.
Issue 8D Report.
Issue Declaration Conformity of the product based on the related regulation.
Other research and summarizing related to quality and engineering asked from time to time.
Job Requirements
Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with ISO and FSSC certification preferable.
Fluent in German and English.
