Overview
An international company in investment banking sector is looking for an experienced (5+ years) "Senior Finance Specialist"(f/m/d) for its Berlin Office.
Responsibilities
• Taking care of all accounting and financial tasks
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets
• Managing records and receipts
• Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
• Preparing balance sheets and processing invoices
• Developing in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
• Annual, half-year, and quarterly reporting
• Annual tax reporting and deduction
• Monitoring and managing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-loss sheets
• Cooperating with mother company and reporting to the Head Office in Japan (therefore excellent Japanese knowledge ist required)
• Understanding and acting according to the investment agreements
• Communicating in English with the team and the clients
• Using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and DATEV. SAP knowledge is preferred (not required)
Requirements
• Experienced in in international banking (preferred) institutions
• Well understood about regulations and policies within EU, Germany and UK
• Knowledge about investment agreements is a plus
• A university Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• Business level: Japanese, Business level English, German knowledge is preferred but not required
