A Japanese company in the international logistics industry is hiring for an Air Freight Export / Import Coordinator (m/f/d) to join Air Freight team at Frankfurt am Main location (Cargo City Süd).
Job Responsibilities
Handling import and export orders, including customs-related processing
Preparation of import, export, and delivery documentation (e.g. export documents, delivery notes)
Monitoring shipments, including arrival checks and airline tracking
Coordination of delivery schedules and appointments
Billing customers and agents domestically and internationally
Invoice review and verification
Handling letters of credit transactions
Communication with customers, agents, and worldwide offices
Management of customer complaints, claims, and damage cases
Processing of dangerous goods shipments and preparation of ADR documentation
Providing telephone-based customer support, including rate and appointment coordination
Job Requirements
Completed commercial training with a focus on logistics or freight forwarding
At least 2 years of operational experience in air freight import and/or export
Sound knowledge of customs-related processes and documentation
Careful and structured working style with strong attention to detail
Service-oriented mindset combined with self-motivation and reliability
Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
