A Japanese company in the international logistics industry is hiring for an Air Freight Export / Import Coordinator (m/f/d) to join Air Freight team at Frankfurt am Main location (Cargo City Süd).

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling import and export orders, including customs-related processing

  • Preparation of import, export, and delivery documentation (e.g. export documents, delivery notes)

  • Monitoring shipments, including arrival checks and airline tracking

  • Coordination of delivery schedules and appointments

  • Billing customers and agents domestically and internationally

  • Invoice review and verification

  • Handling letters of credit transactions

  • Communication with customers, agents, and worldwide offices

  • Management of customer complaints, claims, and damage cases

  • Processing of dangerous goods shipments and preparation of ADR documentation

  • Providing telephone-based customer support, including rate and appointment coordination


Job Requirements

  • Completed commercial training with a focus on logistics or freight forwarding

  • At least 2 years of operational experience in air freight import and/or export

  • Sound knowledge of customs-related processes and documentation

  • Careful and structured working style with strong attention to detail

  • Service-oriented mindset combined with self-motivation and reliability

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

  • Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
