As part of its growth strategy in Germany, the company is seeking an experienced ERP Consultant who can lead ERP implementation projects, support customers throughout the project lifecycle, and contribute to the development of the local business.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering ERP implementation and consulting services for both new and existing customers. This role combines ERP functional consulting, project management, stakeholder communication, and business process improvement initiatives.
The position requires strong ERP knowledge, customer-facing consulting experience, and the ability to manage projects from requirements gathering through go-live support.
Responsibilities
Analyze client business processes and identify ERP solution requirements
Implement and support ERP platforms, including system design, configuration, testing, data migration, user acceptance testing, and go-live support
Gather requirements for custom applications and system integrations
Provide ongoing ERP consulting services and support existing customer accounts
Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal preparation
Prepare project estimates and implementation plans
Manage ERP implementation projects, timelines, resources, and deliverables
Track project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders
Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with internal teams to improve methodologies, service quality, and profitability
Train and mentor junior consultants when required
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications (All must be met)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
3-5 years of ERP consulting, implementation, or related experience
Experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management
Strong understanding of business processes and ERP implementation methodologies
Project management experience in enterprise software implementation projects
Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to travel as required by project assignments
Business-level English communication skills
Valid work authorization in Germany
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or service industries
Experience defining, leading, and managing ERP implementation projects
Knowledge of system integration and custom application development
Experience managing cross-functional project teams
Ability to develop and implement innovative business solutions
Experience contributing to organizational planning and process improvement initiatives
Additional German and/or Japanese language skills
