A family-run Japanese company with more than 200 years of history is looking for a People Partner (m/f/d). The company became the top brand of pet food in Japan and is also expanding internationally to make pets and their owners around the world happy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- In this position, you will support us in providing smooth, efficient and proactive HR support for all employees in Europe.
- As part of the HR processes, you will be responsible for HR administration and ensure the correct implementation of all legal and internal regulations.
- You will be responsible for the processing of recruitment, from support in the employment relationship through to departure and the preparation of references, including carrying out the associated administrative activities.
- You check the correct payroll accounting of our external payroll partners for all employees in Europe in the area of salaries.
- You are also a contact person for all legal partners in Europe.
- Personnel statistics, analysis and reporting are also part of your job.
- As part of the People & Culture team, you will also be responsible for occupational safety, training, vehicle fleet, events, special projects and, in particular, employee satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Specialist knowledge: commercial training with further training in the HR field would be desirable (HR manager). As well as relevant professional experience and specialist knowledge of social security and employment law. You are a team player, responsible, a strong communicator, reliable, able to maintain an overview even in turbulent times and appreciate direct contact with employees. You already have some experience of working with time recording and payroll systems. You are already proficient in MS Office applications and enjoy working independently. A clear hands-on mentality as well as goal-oriented, organized and proactive work with a high level of self-demand characterize you.

- Important points you need to bring with you: Ability to negotiate in English, as we speak English professionally. German would be a plus and other foreign languages would be an advantage.
- It is necessary that you already have a valid work and residence permit for the EU.
- Candidate must be able to regularly commute to the Dusseldorf office.
