Medical translator - Oncology (Contract/Part-time)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role will involve the translation, summary and analysis of a complicated insurance claim submitted (Medical history, treatment/medical certificates, Prescription, etc.) in the German language into English for the medical treatment case in Germany
• The role holder will need to translate, summarise, and interpret the information, create reports relating to it and present findings to medical and underwriting colleagues.
• The focus of the role is to interpret and explain the medical picture rather than applying the policy terms

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Clinical and scientific medical background
• Oncology specialist Doctor or Senior Nurse/Matron/Nurse Supervisor in Oncology, or doctor without Oncology specialism
• Outstanding written and verbal communication in English and German to a medical level – written & spoken
• Able to work similar time zone to Bangkok or Spain from time to time
