A leading manufacturer of weighing solutions and complete systems for the food and packaging industry, with over 100 years of expertise. The company develops and installs innovative technologies for food applications (fresh products, snacks, ready meals, frozen goods, pet food) and selected non-food sectors (pharmaceuticals, chemicals, plastics, metal parts).
Job Responsibilities
⦁ Inspect and repair electrical/electronic modules such as actuators and remote control units (RCUs).
⦁ Identify faults in returned customer components, prepare repair estimates, and carry out repairs.
⦁ Perform scheduled service, maintenance, and quality checks on components and assemblies.
⦁ Prepare and upload inspection reports, repair records, and quotations in SAP.
⦁ Modify, configure, and test machines for demos, exhibitions, or customer delivery.
⦁ Provide technical support to the spare parts sales team, including evaluation and selection of replacement parts.
⦁ Manage procurement and ordering processes for repair warehouse (including inventory monitoring and demand planning).
⦁ Prepare, install, update, and test software for RCU, PCB, and PLC systems.
⦁ Deliver remote technical support to customers.
⦁ Assist with small-scale repairs and equipment installations within the company.
⦁ Support general factory tasks such as machine modifications, shipment preparation, and product testing.
⦁ Assist with setup and dismantling of machines for exhibitions (major trade shows every 3 years, smaller events annually).
⦁ Train and guide new employees on repair processes, proper handling of equipment, and technical inspections.
Job Requirements
⦁ EFK certification
⦁ Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control systems, and pneumatic systems.
⦁ Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering is highly desirable.
⦁ Strong motivation, proactive attitude, and resilience under pressure.
⦁ Proficiency in MS Office applications.
⦁ Good command of both German and English.
⦁ Experience with CRM tools (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
⦁ Ability to work independently with accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility.
⦁ High service orientation and excellent teamwork skills.
⦁ Reliable, confident, and approachable demeanor.
