KEY REQUIREMENT
- Experience in working with sanctioned or trade-restricted countries is a must
- Responsible for customs operations of import and export shipments in compliance with the statutory customs regulations
- Play a crucial role in facilitating international trade by managing the flow of goods across borders
- Monitor and create the customs-relevant documents and check the documents' accuracy
- Possess a strong understanding of customs regulations, international trade practices, and logistics procedures
- Execute controls to align with risk-control framework and guidance from centres of expertise to resolve cross-border issues
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders due to logistics processes, enquiries, or priority management, including clients, freight forwarders, logistics carriers, brokers, government sectors, and other regulatory organizations
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in logistics, import/export operations, international trade, customs brokerage, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Business level in German and English communication skills
- Eligible to work in Germany
- Hybrid work (2 days at the office / 3 days at home)
