A Japanese technical trading company that handles industrial electronics, mechatronics-related equipment, devices, and components is seeking a B2B Sales Representative (m/f/d) for its Swindon branch.
Job Responsibilities
Development of new business in the UK area
Research of current market situation and customers’ needs
Development of strategies to approach customers; independently, together with UK& Europe office staff, and with the Japanese HQ
Supervision of new projects from first steps to close relationship
Support of Asian suppliers in the UK market
Research of and outreach to new potential customers
Support at exhibitions
Visits of and meetings with customers/suppliers
Support of local customers from UK
Handling of quotation requests
Handling of quality issues
Environmental compliance support
Job Requirements
Business proficiency in English (Japanese is not required)
Approximately 2–3 years of B2B sales experience (preferably in a trading company or electronic components manufacturer)
Valid driver’s license in the UK required
Benefits & Others
Trial period: 6 months (paid vacation can be taken after 3 months)
Working hours: 37.5 hours/week (Monday - Friday)
Basic working hours: 9:00-17:30 (including 1 hour lunch break)
Home office: Basically office-based (possible if necessary, the detailed rules are yet to be determined)
Flextime: Possible. However, the detailed rules are yet to be determined.
Remuneration based on new project orders received (the detailed rules are yet to be determined)
Incentive program offered (the detailed rules are yet to be determined)
No overtime payment
Annual leave: 23 days (3 of these days will be allocated to the Christmas to New Year period.)
