Digital Transformation Manager (m/f/d)

COMPANY OVERVIEW
A leading Japanese trading company, mainly active in fields of chemicals/plastics, infrastructure/machinery, steel, information technology and logistics is seeking a full-time Digital Transformation Manager (m/f/d).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the Digital Transformation (DX) team and supporting business units in Germany within the European corporate structure in collaboration with the General Manager
• Working closely with the DX team in London and our Headquarter in Tokyo to support our employees worldwide
• Further development of existing DX projects and implementation of new DX applications for the future-oriented development
• Expansion of business and investment projects
• Develop short and long-term DX strategies to support growth and revenue targets for investments
• With your in-depth knowledge of AI, big data, blockchain, NFT, IoT or metaverse, you will develop innovative DX service and revenue concepts for various business areas
• Increase operational efficiency through digital technologies in collaboration with the team
• Manage an on-site IT service provider that provides Mitsui Germany with various services in the areas of IT infrastructure, device management, helpdesk, troubleshooting, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed studies in business informatics, computer science, engineering or in a similar degree
• Experience as a DX project manager is advantageous
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Advanced communication skills
• An independent, well-structured and solution-orientated way of working
• Proactivity and innovative spirit
• The ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way
• A high degree of reliability
• Enjoy working in a diverse and international team
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to stay abroad (globally) on short time assignments for work and trainings
