A Japanese manufacturer specializing in industrial robots and electrical equipment is seeking a Japanese-speaking Sales Manager (m/f/d) to support its business expansion in the European market. The role involves strategic sales planning and team leadership across multiple regions.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct sales analysis and develop/implement sales strategies for the European market
General sales activities, including new customer acquisition and distributor support, primarily in non-German-speaking regions
Oversee the sales department, including teams for German-speaking regions, non-German-speaking regions, and sales operations
Job Requirements
Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (communication with Japan HQ is essential)
Conversational-level German is a plus
Candidates residing in Germany or with prior work experience in the German market are preferred
Technical background (e.g., engineering degree) is highly advantageous
Benefits & Others
Working hours: 8:00–17:00 (1-hour break, 40 hours/week)
Paid vacation: 30 days/year
Business travel required (with travel allowance)
Initial training in Japan HQ for approx. 6 months, followed by a 6-month probation period
