Company and Job Overview
Our client is a beverage packaging parts manufacturer that was established in Japan in 1941 and in Germany in 2014. Due to growing demand, they are looking for a quality assurance staff member (m/f/d).
Job Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, monitoring product performance, and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Identify the cause of the quality issue and take the necessary procedures .In addition, Judge/advice of handling the quality issue.
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to quality standards, procedures, and test results.
- Internal and external complaint management.
- Employee training and consulting. Train employees on quality issues and advises them on the implementation of quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Helping to continuously improve products, processes and systems to increase quality.
- Maintaining and further developing the QS/QMS system (e.g. ISO9001; ISO14001; FSSC22000).
- Check COA (certificate of analysis) from the supplier and issue COA to the customer.
- Working together with other teams (e.g., Sales, SCM, Production) to address quality issues and implement solutions.
Occasional
- Manage/revise the product specification (consulting with Japanese parent company).
- Audit the supplier.
- Make test plan for new material.
- Issue 8D Report.
- Issue Declaration Conformity of the product based on the related regulation.
Other research and summarizing related to quality and engineering asked from time to time.
Job Requirements
Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with ISO and FSSC certification preferable.
Fluent in German and English.
