A leading Japanese global ramen chain with over 280 locations across 15 countries—including the UK and France—and 145 stores in Japan is preparing to open a new location in Barcelona, Spain in the summer of 2025. To support this exciting expansion, the company is seeking a Kitchen Manager (m/f/d) to join the opening team.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and ordering processes, and coordinate with the product development team at the Japan headquarters
- Oversee kitchen staff scheduling and roster management
- Supervise kitchen operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure kitchen operations comply with Spanish food safety and hygiene regulations
Job Requirements
- Native-level Spanish and business-level English proficiency
- Conversational Japanese is a plus
- Hands-on kitchen experience in a restaurant setting is required
- Experience in Asian cuisine, Japanese food, or ramen restaurants is highly desirable
- Must currently reside in Spain and possess a valid work visa
- Familiarity with Spanish food safety and hygiene standards is a strong advantage
