A leading Japanese global ramen chain with over 280 locations across 15 countries—including the UK and France—and 145 stores in Japan is preparing to open a new location in Barcelona, Spain in the summer of 2025. To support this exciting expansion, the company is seeking a Kitchen Manager (m/f/d) to join the opening team.
Job Responsibilities
Manage procurement and ordering processes, and coordinate with the product development team at the Japan headquarters
Oversee kitchen staff scheduling and roster management
Supervise kitchen operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure kitchen operations comply with Spanish food safety and hygiene regulations
Job Requirements
Native-level Spanish and business-level English proficiency
Conversational Japanese is a plus
Hands-on kitchen experience in a restaurant setting is required
Experience in Asian cuisine, Japanese food, or ramen restaurants is highly desirable
Must currently reside in Spain and possess a valid work visa
Familiarity with Spanish food safety and hygiene standards is a strong advantage
