A Japanese power transmission and conveyor belting manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Financial Manager(m/f/d) in Düsseldorf. They work with customers in a large number of diverse industries and have a history spanning over 130 years and 18 affiliates in 13 different countries.

 

Job Responsibilities
Independent creation, execution and monitoring of various administrative tasks within the
scope of accounting i.w.S.
Administrative support by entering the necessary data (posting incoming invoices,
account statements and cash receipts, etc.) and the corresponding control / monitoring of
the bookings made (if necessary in the 4-eyes principle)
Independent management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash
accounting, asset accounting, personnel administration and accounting, dunning and
account clarifications
Preparation of national and international payment runs, processing of standing orders,
direct debits and SEPA mandates
Support in the implementation of relevant system and financial processes as well as in
the restructuring of accounting processes
Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements,
esp. when reporting to the Japanese parent company (Nitta Corporation of Japan)
Preparation of statistical evaluations and business analyses
Participation in budget and forecast preparation
Creation of statistical evaluations and business analyzes
Archiving of documents (according to GOBD, HGB, AO and tax law)
Clarification of financially relevant issues
Creating statistics and evaluations
Creation and analysis of actual and planned evaluations
Structured and careful (accurate) processing of documents and their filing
Other accounting activities

 

Job Requirements
Business fluent of German and English languages in word and writing is mandatory
At least 3 years of work experience in an Accounting/Financial-related position
Completed commercial vocational training with a focus on economics or accounting,
preferably with the appropriate additional qualification as a tax specialist or accountant
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Advanced knowledge of ERP software and accounting
Social skills
Administrative insight
Problem-solving focus
