A Japanese company is looking for an Assistant Financial Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen the finance team for its European branch. The company distributes power transmission belts, conveyor belts and systems in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independent management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash accounting, asset accounting, payment reminders/account clarifications
- Preparation of national and international payment runs, processing of standing orders, direct debits and SEPA mandates
- Support with the implementation of relevant financial processes
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, in particular reporting to the Japanese parent company
- Preparation of statistical evaluations and business analyses
- Archiving of documents (in accordance with GOBD)
- Structured and careful processing of documents and their filing
Other accounting activities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Completed commercial professional training or business-related studies (university degree in accounting, possibly tax specialist / accountant)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP software or accounting systems
- Very proficient in written and spoken German and English
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Enjoy working in an international team
