A Japanese technology trading company specializing in the procurement, sales, and technical support of semiconductors and electronic components for the automotive industry is seeking an English-speaking Field Application Engineer for the semiconductor(m/f/d) to expand its business in Europe.
Job Responsibilities
Product Launch Support: Assist in the development of ECU circuits for automotive components using semiconductors and electronic parts.
Sales Expansion Activities: Propose system solutions based on product knowledge and provide technical support to the sales team.
Technical Support: Offer additional technical assistance as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
English: Business-level proficiency required.
German/Japanese: Preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience as a Field Application Engineer at a semiconductor manufacturer or trading company,
or experience in ECU system design at a product manufacturer.
Education: Background in electronic engineering or related fields is highly desirable.
Project Management: Experience in managing technical projects.
Travel: Willingness to travel depending on project needs.

Working hours: 40 hours per week (8:30 - 17:30 as a base)
Location: Düsseldorf (primarily office-based)
