The Plant Manager represents the senior leadership is fully responsible for all aspects of the plant operations. The primary mission is to ensure the achievement of production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and cost-efficiency. Crucially, this role serves as the unifying leader who integrates diverse functions building a cohesive "One Team" culture that leverages the strengths of Czech and Japanese nationalities.
 
Job Responsibilities
 
Lead and align all department heads to operate as a cohesive "One Team," ensuring all functions support the plant’s core production goals.
 
Serve as the cross-functional collaborator for inter-departmental challenges, ensuring balanced solutions that respect both compliance/policy and operational realities.
 
Take full accountability for meeting production volume, on-time delivery, and quality standards requested by headquarters and customers.
 
Oversee the entire value chain—from supply chain planning to final shipment—to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure seamless operations.
 
Drive Lean Manufacturing and "5S" initiatives across the floor to enhance efficiency and capacity.
 
Manage the overall plant budget, including P&L responsibility related to the plant profit. 
 
Implement strategies to secure sufficient manpower while controlling labor costs, minimize waste, and optimize material usage.
 
Work closely with CEO/COO/CFO to execute necessary reporting to the Japan Headquarters.
 
Collaborate with other Group factories globally to share best practices and benchmark performance, driving group-wide optimization and further improvements in local productivity. 
 
Ensure the entire plant adheres to Czech/EU labor laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations  in collaboration with HR/SHE.
 
Job Requirements
 
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related technical field.
 
At least 10+ years production/general management experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
 
High proficiency in English and Czech for effective communication with Japanese and global team members.
 
Infrequent travel is required with a possibility of some international travel.
