Japanese company specialized in Chemicals is looking for a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) in Munich, Germany.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

This role involves driving sales of chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and plastic materials across Europe, focusing on both new business development and existing client relationships.

As part of our strategic growth, we aim to expand our pharmaceutical raw materials business into a core segment. You will play a key role in developing API and API intermediate import/export operations, building relationships with European suppliers, and acquiring new customers in the region.

Our company operates a global network across 22 countries with 55 offices, offering diverse business opportunities. In addition to pharmaceutical raw materials, you will also handle projects related to chemical raw materials, food ingredients, and resin products, gaining experience across multiple sectors.

  • Develop and manage sales of chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and plastic materials (both new and existing accounts)

  • Drive growth in API and API intermediate import/export business

  • Identify and onboard European suppliers and customers

  • Collaborate with global teams and group companies for cross-border projects

  • Explore new opportunities in food ingredients (Europe/Africa to Asia exports) and resin-related products (Europe to Asia exports)

 

Job Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Materials Science

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in a chemical-related company)

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage diverse projects

  • Work Style: Primarily on-site (100% office presence), with occasional remote work as needed
