Senior Underwriter Property (m/f/d)

One of the leading specialty insurers with excellent expertise in selected  business fields, unmatched track record and solid capitalization is looking for a Senior Underwriter (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluation and securing new and existent business for internationally renowned Japanese companies and their insurance contracts
• Fostering collaboration with brokers, BD Team, Head office, colleagues and managers
• Ensuring team work with Risk Engineering and follow through on recommendations
• Participation in company-wide projects to integrate JP business into company structure
• Provision of support to other branches
• Contribution to application and execution of underwriting strategies
• Internal communication with colleagues in Europe branches and Risk Engineering
• Cooperation and Coordination with internal U/W Operation department

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in any field of insurance
• Fluency in German and excellent English skills
• Excel proficient
• Collaboration experience with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication, negotiation and organizational abilities
