One of the leading specialty insurers with excellent expertise in selected business fields, unmatched track record and solid capitalization is looking for a Senior Underwriter (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluation and securing new and existent business for internationally renowned Japanese companies and their insurance contracts
- Fostering collaboration with brokers, BD Team, Head office, colleagues and managers
- Ensuring team work with Risk Engineering and follow through on recommendations
- Participation in company-wide projects to integrate JP business into company structure
- Provision of support to other branches
- Contribution to application and execution of underwriting strategies
- Internal communication with colleagues in Europe branches and Risk Engineering
- Cooperation and Coordination with internal U/W Operation department
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in any field of insurance
- Fluency in German and excellent English skills
- Excel proficient
- Collaboration experience with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication, negotiation and organizational abilities
