A Japanese manufacturing company is looking for a Business Planning Manager (m/f/d).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Normal operation (schedule settings, etc.) of business planning department
- Develop business plans
- Prepare a business plan for the operations
- Responsible for business planning tasks
- Consolidation and Preparation of materials for submission and attend meetings
- Summarize and report of the results
- Role as a European headquarters function. Communication, Directing and following up with European subsidiaries
- Matters related to the operation, confirm investment plans, implement organizational changes, etc.
- Advise and train the business planning staff
- Other special assignments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Management ability
- Self-starter, pro-active, hands-on mentality
- Must have general business experience
- Interest in business planning
- Able to communicate and understand with stakeholders
- Reliable, detail-oriented, accurate, well organized
- Should be proactive in handling business planning tasks and flexible with regards to helping the team (team player)
- Demonstrates trustworthiness, honesty and integrity
- Open-mindset and positive attitude
- Experience in the business planning is not required, but an interest in automotive industry, business planning is a must
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business
- Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Advanced written and spoken English skills
- Japanese language skills required for communication with Japan
