This position is particularly suitable for candidates with at least 2–3 years of experience in chemicals or materials who are looking to step into a more customer-facing, international business development role.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and identify opportunities within the European chemicals and materials sector
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in Procurement, R&D, Quality, and Production
- Support business development for specialty chemicals and advanced materials
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs
- Conduct customer visits across Europe and present solutions professionally
- Manage pipelines, forecasts, and new lead generation
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in chemicals, specialty materials, polymers, additives, or related fields
- Strong curiosity and technical learning ability
- Initial experience in sales, customer support, inside sales, or technical service
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-driven work style
- Business-level German and English (Japanese is a plus)
- Willingness to travel within Europe
