This position is particularly suitable for candidates with at least 2–3 years of experience in chemicals or materials who are looking to step into a more customer-facing, international business development role.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct market research and identify opportunities within the European chemicals and materials sector
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in Procurement, R&D, Quality, and Production
Support business development for specialty chemicals and advanced materials
Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs
Conduct customer visits across Europe and present solutions professionally
Manage pipelines, forecasts, and new lead generation
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience in chemicals, specialty materials, polymers, additives, or related fields
Strong curiosity and technical learning ability
Initial experience in sales, customer support, inside sales, or technical service
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-driven work style
Business-level German and English (Japanese is a plus)
Willingness to travel within Europe
