Company Overview
A Japanese manufacturing company in the machine tool industry is seeking to hire a Service Engineer to strengthen its support structure for customers in Germany and neighboring European countries.
The position is based in the Düsseldorf area (NRW, Germany) and focuses primarily on providing technical support at customer sites.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • On-site maintenance, inspection, and repair of industrial machinery

  • Installation, commissioning, and start-up support of machines
    Troubleshooting related to mechanical, electrical, and control systems

  • Conducting regular maintenance and technical inspections
    Providing technical support and training for customers and distributors

  • Preparing service reports and technical documentation (in English)

  • Coordinating and reporting technical matters with the headquarters in Japan


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Service Engineer or Field Service Engineer

    (Experience with machine tools, industrial machinery, or FA equipment welcome)

     

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical fields
    Experience with CNC machines is a plus

  • Ability to work independently at customer sites

  • English: Business level

  • Japanese: Business level or higher

  • Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe

  • Valid driver’s license
