We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Account Representative to support and grow our business for software developer components and tools (.NET / JavaScript) across Europe and the Middle East.
This position is designed as a career path to an outbound Key Account Executive (Outside Sales) role with increasing ownership of named accounts, complex deals, and strategic pipelines. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Management to drive new business, expand existing customers, and improve overall revenue performance.
Location: Hybrid (Düsseldorf HQ / remote) – details to be discussed
Sales Mix: Primarily outside sales > inside sales (both are expected)
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive inside and outside sales for developer tools and components
Qualify leads, run discovery, guide evaluations and assist purchasing
Own opportunities from first contact to order completion
Contribute to forecasting, revenue planning, and KPI tracking
Learn to structure and close larger enterprise deals
Customer & Partner Engagement
Act as a primary contact for customers via email/phone/virtual
Support and coordinate reseller/partner activities and enablement
Work with Customer Success on conversions, renewals, and repeat orders
Marketing & Demand Generation
Execute sales promotions via email, phone, and 1:1 outreach
Support web, social (SNS), and targeted campaigns
Participate in trade shows and exhibitions (planning, prep, follow-up)
Operations & Systems
Manage software order processing, electronic delivery, billing, and payment follow-up
Review and support contract handling with Legal/Management
Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and activity data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
Target Customers
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
System integrators / solution providers
Packaged software manufacturers
Corporate IT / software engineering teams
(Personas are primarily developers and technical buyers.)
Growth Path
This role is intended to evolve into a Key Account Executive (Outside Sales) position with:
Ownership of named accounts and territories
Responsibility for larger, complex sales cycles
Increased strategic account responsibility
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
COMPETENCY (“Must”) *Must meet all of the following requirements
Experience
3+ years in B2B software sales (inside and/or outside)
Experience selling business applications, developer tools, software licenses
Familiarity with corporate/enterprise sales processes
Demonstrated overachievement vs. targets
Skills
Team player with strong commercial communication
Willingness to travel (including internationally)
Contract review and commercial/legal understanding
Sales administration and order management experience
Team lead / coordination experience is a plus
Self-starter with a proactive, can‑do attitude
Languages
Fluent English and German required
Additional languages are a strong plus
Clear career progression toward Key Account Executive (Outside Sales)

※During the start-up period, employees are required to come to work, but after stabilization, hybrid work can be considered.
