Company Overview
A Japan-oriented international trading company specializing in chemicals and industrial materials is seeking a Sales Representative to support business development efforts across Europe from its Prague office. The company provides tailored solutions to clients worldwide and is expanding its presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
Responsibilities
Develop new business with corporate clients across Europe, primarily through face-to-face meetings and business travel within Europe (at least once per week for business travel)
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients in the region
Promote and sell chemical materials and industrial components
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized trading and supply solutions
Provide consultation and support to Japanese and European clients regarding product needs
Support account management and client retention initiatives
Requirements
Proven experience in new business development or B2B sales, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sectors
Native-level Japanese or Czech/Slovak language with understanding of Japanese business culture preferred
Business-level English proficiency
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently across Europe
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities proactively
Proficiency in MS Office
