A Japanese research-driven pharmaceutical company is seeking an Assistant Manager (Commercial Operation) based in Düsseldorf.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Operations & Administration
Provide administrative support for EMEA Commercial Operations members, including travel arrangements and office equipment coordination.
Manage on‑boarding and off‑boarding procedures for department members.
Oversee budget control processes (e.g., KAM budget, marketing expenses) in cooperation with relevant managers.
Serve as local manager for product distribution and customer service in collaboration with 3PLs (Third‑Party Logistics Providers).
Handle inventory demand forecasting, procurement, monitoring, reporting, stock checks, and reconciliation with 3PLs.
Act as the local contact for 3PLs and the European Supply Chain Department (London).
Sales, Marketing & Event Management
Organize and administer internal and external events (meetings, trainings, exhibitions, congresses, workshops).
Manage communications and contracts with healthcare professionals (HCP), healthcare organizations (HCO), and service providers, including mandatory documentation.
Support marketing activities, including communication with external agencies.
Execute daily/weekly/monthly product sales analysis and reporting.
Liaise with Sales Managers and Country Managers to provide operational support.
Manage promotional materials, including online shop maintenance, stock monitoring, ordering, assignment of material IDs, and destruction documentation.
SAP & System Management
Manage SAP maintenance and change requests; troubleshoot system issues in cooperation with MT Pharma IT Specialists.
Support centralized IT specialists during SAP-related projects, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Compliance & Cross-functional Support
Support documentation and coordination for compliance matters.
Regularly collaborate with other internal departments to support cross-functional activities.
Provide support to staff at MT Pharma Düsseldorf and group companies as required.
Serve as deputy for Assistant Manager (Project Management) when needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in business administration; pharmaceutical, medical sales, or logistics experience preferred.
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, goods management/logistics systems, and SAP (SAP experience is an advantage).
Excellent team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; structured, proactive, and highly motivated.
Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and embrace challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner across departments.
