COMPANY OVERVIEW
A chemical trading company is looking for a Sales Staff(m/f/d) for the department of Biofine in Düsseldorf. 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead sales and marketing efforts for products related to pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and specialty chemicals, as well as CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) services, while addressing technical and regulatory matters.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the above sectors.
  • Sustain and grow existing business operations, including managing risks, resolving issues, and optimizing contracts, with accountability for your own budget targets.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to negotiate and finalize contracts.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with current business partners.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence as part of your role and report findings to your supervisor.
  • Coordinate with the sales back-office team to manage logistics for products and services..


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) at Bachelor, Master, or PhD level.
  • Over 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in pharma, agrochemical, specialty chemicals, or CDMO services.
  • Familiarity with technical and regulatory aspects relevant to sales management.
  • Strong goal orientation, independence in work, and ability to provide excellent service through analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Fluent English and good German skills required in an international business environment.
  • High level of commitment, resilience under pressure, and proactive attitude toward market exploration and client engagement.
  • Confidence and professionalism in global settings.
  • Hands-on mindset and dedication to building long-term relationships with internal and external partners.
