COMPANY OVERVIEW
The regional headquarter for the European market which is the product development arm and provides the parent company in Japan with important information about European market trends and technologies. 

As one of three global R&D centers, we work on developing new models – from the first sketches to the finished vehicle. Our mission is to develop unique products, ideally suited to each European market. There are currently around 100 employees in the 75,000 square meters facility, which is housing offices, workshops and design studios. Designers, Engineers and Technicians are analyzing technological trends as well as European tastes and driving habits, in order to create products and services that take a wide variety of client points of view into consideration. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning, coordination and execution of projects in electrical and electronic vehicle accessories for the European and international market

  • Product planning and development of interior and exterior illumination and infotainment (Qi-Charging, Sound Systems)

  • Development of ideas of electrical and electronic architectures of future vehicles for integration of future accessories

  • Product research of the European market, benchmarking (market trends, visiting of shows)

  • Independent project planning and completing the design from the specification sheet to the series product of future vehicles

  • Close cooperation with the internal design and homologation team, as well as with the European and international suppliers

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in electrical engineering or similar

  • experience in automotive development or in the development of electrical components 

  • Profound knowledge of CAN bus, Cyber Security, Conventional Vehicle Electrical Systems, circuit diagrams

  • Good knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. Siemens NX, Team Center Visualization Mockup)

  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Independent working style, interest in planning and implementing projects

  • Valid driving license class B (no must)

  • Fluent English

  • Big interest in working in a multicultural team
