COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese manufacturer of automotive (ex., gaskets and seals) in Düsseldorf is seeking a Sales Representative in their Düsseldorf office. Currently, around 25 people are working at their sales office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquisition of new projects among existing Europe based customers e.g. Tier1, Tier3
Acquisition of new customers in Europe
Manage customers and cater customer needs
Budget planning and creation of forecasts
project management -> meeting dead lines and customer targets
manage and accompany release customer processes
support of customer claims and complaints
secure and support timely delivery of urgent parts (prototype parts etc.)
Collaboration with JP HQ engineers (tailor-made design, customisation and development for customers)
Business trips (within Germany, Eastern European countries, and Japan)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Business level German and English (At least B2 level)
At least 1-2 years experience in the field of sales within the automotive industry
University (college or university) degree, preferably in business or economics or engineering
Ability to explain and sell technical and complex products
A general understanding of the automotive industry
Ability to persist in challenging environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Drivers license
